Hi everyone!
A huge apology for the long period since the last update. As mentioned, my wife and I were off on a much-needed (and FABULOUS) holiday, but wouldn't you know it, 3 days after getting home, guess who got sacked with Covid...? Yep, yours truly. I suspect it was picked up on the long flight home... (sigh) I was pretty much laid out for all of last week, and while I'm back on the mend and in the clear now, it's still a bit of a crawl getting back to normal speed... 🥴
But with that, I come bearing good news!
Shipping should begin on Friday!
The warehouse confirmed today that everything is ready to go, and shipping labels will start printing tomorrow. There's no reason packages couldn't start leaving their dock as soon as Friday! 🥳
They typically tackle domestic US and North American orders first with all abroad International orders immediately after, so those should be out fairly soon, too. I would guess everything should be out the door by the end of next week.
You should receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information from "[email protected]" once your package has gone out. You may want to proactively make sure that address is white-listed in any spam filter or quarantine net your email server may use. We'll add that tracking info to your Backerkit once all packages have gone out, but hopefully you've already gotten your stuff by the time that data gets imported.

If you missed the mention on the campaign page, every pledge includes a number of Ambassador Points equivalent to your final order total (including postage). These are unique reward points that can be collected and redeemed for discounts and rewards on our webstore, and a great way to support Magnetic Press further (while building up a collection of cool books and stuff in the process)!
If you are already a webstore customer and part of the program, just log into your webstore account (which should be under the same email address as your Kickstarter/Backerkit account). You should see those new points added to your balance under the heading "MIDNIGHT ORDER Kickstarter Points."
If you don't have an account on our webstore, your points have been tallied, but you will need to complete registration for us to add them. 😊

Hi everyone!
Just a really quick update as I scramble to pack for some overseas travel --
ALL ITEMS HAVE REACHED THE FULFILLMENT WAREHOUSE.
They hope to have the Stretch Goal bundles and such assembled next week and if all goes according to schedule, they hope to start shipping orders either by the end of the week or (more likely) the week after.
As mentioned above, I'm heading out of the country for a much-needed overdue holiday, taking off tomorrow for 12 days abroad. I don't know what my connectivity will be, but if I can report in while gone, I certainly will. Otherwise, I should return to confirm the good news that orders have gone out. 😊

We're getting the physical rewards ready to shipin the next few weeks, but in the meantime --
Digital Download links have been distributed!
You may have already received an email notification from Backerkit just now, but if not, check your inboxes or your Backerkit account page (which you can access at https://the-midnight-order.backerkit.com/). You will find all of the links and instructions for downloading your files behind the big blue button in the middle of your account page that says "Get Your Digital Downloads" -- click on that to see your individual links for each item due.
The books are all hosted by Gumroad -- you will have to follow the (simple) instructions to use your unique codes to download your files from Gumroad for free. 😊 If you have any trouble or questions about the process, feel free to ask here or in a direct message, we're happy to help!
Next week we will award everyone their Ambassador Points for their pledge. Stay tuned for that update towards the end of next week!

Address Lock has begun - please confirm your shipping address this weekend!

Hi everyone!
As mentioned yesterday, we have initiated the Address Lock. Backerkit will now send everyone a final notice email giving you 48 hours to make any necessary address changes. After that 48-hour countdown, whatever address we have on file will be what we use for shipping.
Please watch for this notification -- if your address looks fine already, you don't have to do anything, but if you need to make any changes, now is the best time to do so! Any changes requested after this weekend will require you to contact us directly so that we can make any late adjustments manually (assuming there's still time to make the change). We are hoping shipping can begin in the next few weeks, before the end of the month (April).
There are still 42 backers who haven't filled out their surveys, so if you're one of them, please do so now! Otherwise, we won't know where to send your stuff! 😊 If you're not sure whether you have completed your survey or not, click on the image below and log in with your Kickstarter Email to check. Or message us and we'll help you out.
Next week, we will be exporting all of the order data to begin the fulfillment process. We will also distribute the digital rewards next Friday!

Hi everyone!
It has been a busy month here and things are starting to come together quickly for shipping to begin soon. Therefore, we're going to LOCK ADDRESSES this weekend. That means you will have this weekend to either confirm or make any final adjustments to your shipping address in Backerkit before we export all order data for our fulfillment warehouse to start preparations. We'll post another update tomorrow once we have initiated that lock process.
Everything is just about ready to start shipping and we're just waiting on a couple of remaining items to get to our warehouse. But they all look great! Just take a peek at how the "Death's Head Moth" pin turned out --
We are also admittedly still waiting on the signed bookplates back from Mathieu... he's been busy with his next project these days, but we should have these from him shortly!
We will also begin distributing digital rewards next week. Stay tuned for that update!
